The www.engaGEme.org.uk site is developing its events section – there will be information on summer events happening across Glasgow East, and in addition to this we want local peoples ideas on things they enjoy doing in the area we want your ideas for a ‘Hidden Treasures’ feature on the website. This could range from having a walk and picnic in Glasgow Green to watching a baseball game in Tollcross park, let us know what you enjoy doing in the area.

One of the places i visit every month is the peoples palace in Glasgow green as it iss a place were i can meet up with friends for lunch in the winter gardens, or take my daughter to join in the various activity programmes within the building and also reminise about the past with my parents. I also encourage my nursery team to use it as a place that will allow our nursery children to explore various activities. Its part of our history and an East End treasure in my eyes.
