Throughout my life I have continuously strived to learn new skills and believe in seizing every learning opportunity which comes my way. I love to meet and work with others and to be part of a wider community where I can get to know the real problems of people and learn from them. This is one of the reasons I am currently volunteering with Citizens Advice Direct and engage ME. Here I have the opportunity to help people by giving support on a wide range of issues. As a volunteer and being in a customer service role I have learned how to manage people, listen to their needs and queries and respond by giving appropriate support. Additionally it has also increased my knowledge of these areas and given me a greater insight into UK life. I love to travel and meet new people and learn about new cultures and I will continue to volunteer and help the wider community.
